Building groups for children

bookmumbookmum londonMember Posts: 1,028
I have an idea of starting a lego building group at my daughters school. I am interested if anyone has run anything like this. Is it better to have a specific plan - ie build a town and everyone does a specific building for it or just have it as a massive free build. The children would be aged 8-11 ish. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I looked at various options and ideas and I don't think there is a 'one size fits all'.  look at the options, think what would work and do what you feel is best. Even so a few trial days.  a lot will depend on the bricks you have. eg you don't have baseplates you will struggle with houses etc.  ours is on hold atm due to my personal situation but my wife is hoping to do a test run for a few weeks before summer, then a summer thing, then take it from there.  we need more bricks though!
