Misleading current value numbers

Case in point... 10229 currently sells new at around $200, but is listed on BrickSet as being valued at $30:



Wouldn't it make a whole lot more sense to use the average sale prices from BrickLink instead of the minimum sale prices (which often times are based on an obscure outlier sale rather than typical market pricing)?
