#10181 Eiffel Tower. I've had it boxed up for over 2 years. Finally building it now. It's somewhat repetitive and a little fragile, but I'm enjoying it.

I just finished and am furnishing a moc built roughly with the plans of haunted house with some modifications. I used medium blue and tan and white for snow. I "have" to wait until thanksgiving to build the winter buildings and I get to unseal the 4x4 crawler for my birthday on December 5! It is so hard having sealed sets sitting around.

The ground level is the flimsiest, and I remember the legs/pillars collapsing a few times as I pressed down the next height of brick.

Once built, it's sturdy enough though, and it's probably the most visually arresting of all the landmark sculptures.

It is a bit of a repetitive build, but damn it looks good in my living room.

    Built #9516 - Jabba's Palace today.

We started early on the winter builds. My husband, myself and our two daughters build 10216 (bakery). Dd6 built the pond, dd11 built the wagon, I built the tree stand and was the "seeker" and finished what my dh didn't finish on the building. It was a fun family build.

Just finished building the older AT-AT #4483 - the head piece is so fragile, it falls apart at the slightest breeze.

Somehow, I ended up with a couple of these. I foresee a Hoth Christmas display this year.

Almost finished building #9397 Logging Truck. I am pleasently surprised at the (almost) finished model. Somehow, it looks better in person than it does in pictures.

@mcvitie I finished building my Fire Brigade yesterday and it was a ton fun. It was my first modular as well and I was really amazed at the building techniques and the level of detail. I think my favorite parts are the ping pong table and the brick work on the front of the building. Next up... Grand Emporium!!!

^ and ^^: I am between builds right now (Black Friday purchases should change that) but wanted to welcome you to the Modular Club! They are all great and look wonderful together...then you have to add streets, etc.

Just finished building the Winter Bakery and put it on display for the holidays. I also have a 7734 that just came in from E-bay that need a little love in the lost pieces department, and my other restoration project is the Black Monarch's Castle 6085 from 1989 that is only now missing a couple of minifigs and a flag or so.

Next on my buy/build list is the Winter Post office and Winter Village to get my collection caught up.

I am working towards "restoring" a sail barge 6210. It's quite a fun build and now I am waiting for the final pieces from lego pick a brick to complete the set.

Building all the winter village sets over the next few weeks (Three down two to go) with my daughter, plus a few MOC building to go with it, before laying that out in a Christmas Display.
Waiting for 20 32x32 green baseboards to arrive to build out the grounds on my Hogwarts MOC (currently standing at 100,000+ pieces and approx 24 square foot as a footprint), separate post about that before Christmas i hope :)
Just finished Mines of Moria set and combined it with a lot of rock and cliff parts to make a more complete diorama, hope to add the Balrock set to that next year so we have a complete journey through the mines for the fellowship.
Mentally planing out the Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit build in terms of putting the two together and adding a complete skin too the sets to make it look like the pit is set into the rock base that the palace is built on, plus additional areas like the droid torture room and prison pit.
Preparing for the inevitable Friends building frenzy that will accompany my daughters birthday next week...

Made it through the first two floors of the Town Hall last week and have had no time to finish up the build yet. Hoping to get it done this weekend.

^ my husband finally finished it today, it's taken him and my daughter weeks. It's so fun to watch her help by finding pieces, it doesn't seem too long since she made us find all of her pieces for her.

Stuck at home with a sick child I built Villa Savoye today and will start the T1 tomorrow. Probably with more help than I really want :).

@monkey_roo wow, you will have to upload some pictures of your Hogwarts MOC. I hope you have enough space for it all. :P

a couple hours ago I built my 2nd #9491 Geonosian Cannon, as well as #850425, the business card holder, which disappointed me with the number and variety of letter/number printed tiles... to put my name and email on it I can not do, even with 2 extra letters in my set, both of which i use (Q & U). I was planning on getting more than a few in the long run, so it's not the end of the world. Will probably do a review later. What i've really been building is monochrome minifigures, got pretty much everything I can do with my current collection done for the time being ... don't you love when your internet is flaky and your post from the day before is here when you come back? monochrome minifig update, found some S6 CMFs at TRU and Brassoed a genie head, so medium azure is done until they make hands in that color. Built #8028 mini TIE Fighter, and got 3x #9489 Endor BP for $6.49ea so threw one of those together, then built #4432 the garbage truck that i got for $9.99! (BRIGHT GREEN! ZOMG!!)

Coming up with plans to modify the city harbour. I've had ideas before about this. I hate the flimsiness of the 16x16 baseplates that are used so finally designed a replacement. I also wanted it elevated so the deck of the boat is level with the top-edge of the dock. It's just a design for now and needs a good few parts, probably about 20 euro plus shipping. Pics attached. The harbour model is from eurobricks - just lifted the boat and buildings and added onto my replacement road. Truck and figs there for completeness.

It's basically 16x16 plates with a strip of 2x2 tiles and then other plates holding the lot together raised on round 2x2 bricks. simple modification really that will make it a superior set. The only downside is everything else then needs to be raised in a city layout...

I finished #9473 on Wednesday and built #9476 this afternoon. So that's all the LOTR sets bar #9472 built in the last month.

Will be starting the WV sets in the next couple of weeks.

At BrickCon in Seattle this year someone had a Minifig scale Hogwarts castle. The tower was about 10 feet tall and the castle was beautiful. This was by far the MOC that brought in the most viewers, I could not even get close enough to it to get any decient shots. I did notice that they had a couple of the key scenes from the movies done with minifigs.

I got a Walmart gift card from my employer to use to buy a turkey for thanksgiving. I usually avoid Walmart and had no plans to get our turkey there so I decided to put that towards a smaller Lego set. Today I picked up 4206 (recycling truck). So far my 4 year old has the bins and forklift built. He is napping now but he will build the truck later this evening.

Just built #853195 Brick Calendar and #3300014 Holiday Limited Edition Set. The former would work as an excellent teaching tool, and the latter blends in perfectly with the Winter Village. Now I'm currently building #10230 Mini Modulars and just with Café corner I have learned some excellent SNOT techniques. Get it while its still on sale!!
