I love the size but will be less inclined to buy multiples to combine them due to the higher price
a single GE is undersized,Agree, the GE needs to be twice the width, and have an extra floor IMO. I have a box here ready to open for just that purpose :)
a single GE is undersized,
I don't quite understand this obsession with comparing this set to Back to the Future at the moment.
I hope these are fair game, the images aren't marked confidential and they're pretty good quality. http://www.toyark.com/news/lego-toy-news-12/new-2012-lego-modular-building-town-hall-images-5171/Friend showed me this in the morning, I have mixed thoughts, don't like another date on the building, could make for a confusing street with multiple dates on buildings. And aside from the first floor (which looks great) I think the outside of the rest looks a little plain. And when you look at the last pic, you see this set is HUGE!
I wish Lego would start putting out some modern modular buildings.
It looks very small town USA to me. Are there similar looking European town halls?
\\Actually the dates in the two building are significant in the Lego history 1932 Fire Brigade (The year Lego was established)1891 Town Hall (Ole Kirk Christiansen is Born)and town halls are usually around for a long time so I see no problem there!
